We are excited to announce that supporting VPI’s Community Programs and Services has been made simpler and can be done without any cost to you!
You can now give to VPI by simply buying Amazon products when you shop with AmazonSmile. AmazonSmile has all the same products, shipping services, deals, and prices as amazon.com, but has the added benefit of being able to do good while you shop.
When you shop with AmazonSmile, 0.5% of eligible purchases will automatically be donated to VPI though the AmazonSmile Foundation.
Simply make your normal Amazon purchases through this link or follow the instructions to set up AmazonSmile on your mobile phone by following the instructions below:
How to activate AmazonSmile on your iPhone or Android phone app:
- Join AmazonSmile
- If you aren’t yet an AmazonSmile member, sign up at smile.amazon.com using a web browser (mobile or desktop). Sign in with your Amazon credentials and the site will walk you through the process. Amazon will ask your to choose your favorite charity. This is where you search for “Valley Packaging Industries Inc”.
- Open the Amazon Shopping app on your phone
- Navigate to the main menu (≡)
- Tap on Settings and then select “AmazonSmile”
- Select your charity and then follow the on-screen instructions to turn ON AmazonSmile in the mobile app
Once AmazonSmile has been activated in your app, future eligible app purchases will generate a donation for the charity you have selected. Amazon does ask that you renew your AmazonSmile donation every six months. When the six months is up, all you will have to do is choose “Valley Packaging Industries Inc” as your charity again.
How to use AmazonSmile on a web browser:
- Visit smile.amazon.com
- Sign in with the same account you use for Amazon.com
- Select your charity
- Start shopping! Remember to checkout at smile.amazon.com to generate donations for VPI to support our community programs and services
